Dr Amitav Banerjee, MD is currently Professor Emeritus in Epidemiology at Dr DY Patil Medical College, Pune, India. He has specialized in Public Health and is a post-doctoral in Epidemiology with over 20 years of experience as a field epidemiologist in the Indian Armed Forces.
